Police Safety Consultant

Retired from the position of Deputy Chief of Police with the Montgomery Police Department, Roger Owens has more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement and has been AMIC's Police Safety Consultant since 1994.

He travels to 327 member police departments that are insured for liability or workers compensation insurance. Roger conducts loss control meetings with each police department annually in an effort to reduce departments' exposure to claims, lawsuits, and police officer injuries.

By helping member police departments keep their losses as low as possible, AMIC also helps keep member cities' insurance premiums as low as possible. Plus, we help keep their officers safe.
