Employment Practices Hotline -- 

Helps members with a broad spectrum

of employment legal issues.

On July 1, 1998, the Alabama Municipal Insurance Corporation (AMIC) and the Municipal Workers Compensation Fund, Inc. (MWCF) announced the establishment of an Employment Practices Hotline for the use of our members.

The experience of both AMIC and MWCF has shown that hiring and dismissing employees is an area of increasing litigation. We established the Hotline to assist AMIC members in properly and legally handling their employment issues. The questions and answers on the FAQ page should provide much of the information you may need to effectively use this service.
